The Steelflex XB7500S is a commercial recumbent bike from Taiwanese manufacturer Steelflex that generates its own power as you pedal. An electronically controlled eddy-current brake offers 16 resistance levels across a 20–450 watt range, a two-window dot-matrix LED console runs eight programmes, and the seat adjusts in two directions so each rider sits at the right leg extension.

Who is this bike for?

The XB7500S suits gyms, hotel and apartment fitness rooms, corporate wellness centres and senior-living facilities where members want low-impact cardio with back support. The step-through layout is easy to get on and off, which helps older users, heavier users up to 180 kg and anyone returning to exercise after a layoff.

Key workout benefits

Eight programmes cover Manual, Random, Interval, heart-rate control, CV Workout, Fat Burn, Weight Loss and Rolling. The console reports time, work level, distance, watts, speed, heart rate, calories and METs, with heart rate read through contact grips or a compatible wireless chest strap.

Sixteen resistance levels and a 450-watt ceiling cover everything from gentle recovery rides to hard efforts, while the reclined position keeps load off the knees and lower back.

Build quality and user experience

Eddy-current braking has no contact pads to wear, so resistance stays smooth and quiet over years of daily sessions. The adjustable seat mechanism moves fore and aft and vertically, and self-balancing pedals with easy-adjust straps keep the feet secure.

Transport wheels make it simple to move the bike for cleaning or a floor-plan change.

Space and installation

The XB7500S measures 144 × 82 × 129 cm (L × W × H) and needs no mains connection, so it can go anywhere with a level floor. Allow about 0.6 m of clear space on each side for stepping on and off. Luxe Fitness delivers and assembles the bike and checks the seat and pedal adjustment before handover.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the handgrips, seat, backrest and console after each session, and check the pedal straps and seat slide weekly. Keep the area under the bike free of dust. If resistance becomes uneven or the console stops reading, book a service visit rather than opening the housing.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Steelflex XB7500S need to be plugged in?

No. The XB7500S is self-generating, so your pedalling powers the console and the eddy-current resistance and no mains socket is needed.

What is the difference between the Steelflex XB7500S and PR10?

Both are self-powered commercial recumbent bikes with a 180 kg user limit. The PR10 offers 30 resistance levels and a seven-window console on a 178 × 76 cm footprint, while the XB7500S has 16 levels, a two-window dot-matrix console and a more compact 144 × 82 cm footprint.

Is a recumbent bike like the XB7500S good for bad knees or back pain?

A recumbent bike keeps the body reclined with the back supported and the knees working at a comfortable angle, which many people with knee or lower-back discomfort find easier than an upright bike. Anyone with an injury should check with their doctor or physiotherapist first.

What warranty does the Steelflex XB7500S have in India?

Luxe Fitness offers up to 5 years warranty on this bike, covering frame, major moving parts and electronics on separate terms. Ask us for the warranty card for your exact model before purchase.
