116 × 81 cm footprint
The Steelflex NPCB is the preacher curl bench in Steelflex’s Neo free-weight line. The oversized, flat elbow pad gives ideal support to the joints and optimises stability during biceps curls, and bilateral plastic bar catches hold the bar between sets and protect the frame.
Who is this machine for?
The NPCB suits commercial gyms, hotel and corporate fitness centres, apartment-complex gyms and home gyms in India that want a strict curl station for EZ bars, straight bars and dumbbells.
Exercises it supports
The preacher curl isolates the biceps brachii with the brachialis and brachioradialis assisting. With the upper arms braced on the pad the shoulders cannot swing the weight, and the stretch at the bottom of the movement is greater than in a standing curl.
Build quality and safety
The frame is heavy-gauge steel with continuous welds and a metallic-silver two-coat finish, the elbow pad is oversized and flat, upholstered in 5 cm rebonded foam under 15 mm high-resilience foam, and the bar catches are plastic to protect the bar.
Like every Neo-series piece, it carries a two-coat, electrostatically applied metallic-silver powder finish with continuous welds at all joints, and upholstered models use 5 cm of rebonded foam under 15 mm of high-resilience foam with a CGPC PVC cold-latex cover, double stitched.
Space and installation
The NPCB measures 116 × 81 × 97 cm (45" × 32" × 38") (L × W × H). The NPCB measures 116 × 81 × 97 cm (L × W × H). Allow about 0.8 m clear in front for a bar. No power or anchoring is needed. Luxe Fitness delivers and assembles the bench; bars and plates are chosen separately.
Care and maintenance
Wipe the upholstery and frame after each session. Check adjustment pins, bar catches and frame bolts monthly and tighten as needed.
