• Heavy-gauge oval steel frame

• Weight horns for plate storage

• 120 kg maximum user weight

The Steelflex MSM is the Smith machine in Steelflex’s Mega Power full-commercial line, built to strengthen the whole body on a guided bar. Heavy-gauge oval steel tubing keeps the frame stable and safe under heavy plates, a dual powder-coated finish resists scratches and abrasion through years of use, and weight horns on the frame let members store and collect plates without a separate tree.

Who is this machine for?

The MSM suits commercial gyms, hotel and corporate fitness centres, institutional facilities and premium home gyms in India that want members to squat, press and row with a barbell safely without a spotter. The 120 kg maximum user weight covers most members, and plates are loaded to suit the lifter.

Exercises it supports

Squats and lunges train the quadriceps, glutes and hamstrings; bench and incline presses the chest, shoulders and triceps; shoulder presses the deltoids; bent-over rows the back; calf raises the calves. The guided bar removes the balance demand, so members can concentrate on the muscles and catch the bar on the hooks at any point.

Build quality and safety

The bar travels on fixed guides so it cannot drift forward or sideways, and rotating the bar seats it on hooks at every height for a safe stop mid-set. The heavy-gauge oval tubing and dual powder coat are the same specification as the rest of the Mega Power line, and the weight horns keep plates within reach of the lifter.

Like every Mega Power machine, it is built on 50 × 150 mm oval steel tubing with a two-coat, electrostatically applied powder finish; 5 cm of rebonded foam under 15 mm of high-resilience foam with a CGPC PVC cold-latex cover, double stitched; dipped PVC handgrips; a flat-belt drive with a tensile strength above 2,280 kg; a 4 mm acrylic shroud; and noise-absorbing cushions under the weight stack. An instructional placard is fitted to every machine.

Space and installation

The MSM measures 219 × 139 × 225 cm (86" × 55" × 89") (L × W × H). The MSM measures 219 × 139 × 225 cm (L × W × H). Allow about 1 m clear on each side for loading plates and at least 2.5 m of ceiling height. No power is needed. Luxe Fitness delivers, assembles and levels the machine; a bench is sold separately.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the bar, handgrips and frame after each session and keep the guide rods clean and lightly lubricated as the manual directs. Check the hooks and bar catches monthly and the frame bolts quarterly. Book a service visit if the bar binds on the guides.
