MPD700 Chest Fly

Brand: Steelflex · Model: MPD700 · Category: Pin Loaded

The Steelflex MPD700 Chest Fly is a full-commercial pec fly machine from Steelflex’s Mega Power series, built for commercial gyms that want an isolation movement for the chest. Padded elbow supports take the strain off the arms so the chest does the work, and multiple press handgrips suit different arm lengths. It carries a 97.5 kg (215 lb) weight stack as standard (143 kg (315 lb) or 189 kg (415 lb) optional), is rated for users up to 120 kg (264 lb) and occupies 144 × 167 cm of floor.

• Elbow pads isolate the chest

• Multiple handgrips for different arm lengths

• Smooth flat-belt drive

• 97.5 kg stack, 143 or 189 kg optional

• 120 kg maximum user weight

The Steelflex MPD700 is the chest fly in Steelflex’s Mega Power full-commercial line, built to define the chest through a pure adduction movement. Combined elbow pads support the forearms so the pectorals, not the arms, drive the squeeze, and several handgrip positions let members of different arm lengths find a comfortable start.

Who is this machine for?

The MPD700 suits commercial gyms, hotel and corporate fitness centres and premium home gyms in India that want a fly machine beside their presses. The elbow-pad design is forgiving on wrists and elbows, which suits beginners and older members, and the 120 kg maximum user weight covers most users.

Muscles worked and key exercises

The fly isolates the pectoralis major with the anterior deltoids assisting, and because the elbows stay supported the triceps contribute little, so the chest reaches fatigue without the arms giving out first. It is a finishing movement after pressing or a safe starting point for members new to chest training.

Build quality and adjustment

The elbow pads combine support and comfort so members can sustain intense sets, the handgrips sit at several heights to suit different arm lengths, and the flat-belt drive gives a smooth, even resistance through the full arc.

Like every Mega Power machine, it is built on 50 × 150 mm oval steel tubing with a two-coat, electrostatically applied powder finish; 5 cm of rebonded foam under 15 mm of high-resilience foam with a CGPC PVC cold-latex cover, double stitched; dipped PVC handgrips; a flat-belt drive with a tensile strength above 2,280 kg; a 4 mm acrylic shroud; and noise-absorbing cushions under the weight stack. An instructional placard is fitted to every machine.

Space and installation

The MPD700 measures 144 × 167 × 167 cm (57" × 66" × 66") (L × W × H). Leave about 0.6 m of clear space on the user side for entry and exit and 0.5 m around the weight stack for pin changes. No power is needed. Luxe Fitness delivers, assembles and levels the machine and fits the weight stack on site.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the upholstery, handgrips and shroud after each session. Check the belt, pulleys and pivot bearings monthly, keep the guide rods clean and lightly lubricated as the manual directs, and tighten pad and handle fasteners. Book a service visit if the movement becomes rough or the stack catches on the guide rods.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the Steelflex MPD700 and MPD700B?

The MPD700 is a dedicated chest fly with elbow pads. The MPD700B is a dual-function fly and rear-deltoid machine with pivoting arms that work both the chest and the rear shoulders.

Is a fly machine better than dumbbell flies?

A fly machine keeps tension on the chest through the whole arc and needs no stabilising, so it is safer for beginners and easier to load heavily than dumbbells.

What warranty does the Steelflex MPD700 have in India?

Luxe Fitness offers up to 5 years warranty on this machine, covering frame, major moving parts and upholstery on separate terms. Ask us for the warranty card for your exact model before purchase.
