• Dedicated glute hip thrust

• Tilted blister-pattern footplate

• 97.5 kg weight stack

• 165 × 129 cm footprint

The Steelflex JGHT2400 is the hip thruster in Steelflex’s Jungle Gym commercial line, aimed squarely at the glutes. A high-grade seat belt safeguards the user during the thrusting movement, and the tilted blister-pattern footplate with a thick, ergonomically shaped back pad gives support while helping the user control the stability of the core.

Who is this machine for?

The JGHT2400 suits commercial gyms, hotel and corporate fitness centres, sports-conditioning rooms and premium home gyms in India where members want the hip thrust, the most effective glute exercise, without setting up a barbell, pad and bench. The selectorised stack makes it quick and safe for every level.

Muscles worked and key exercises

The hip thrust targets the gluteus maximus with the hamstrings and adductors assisting and the core stabilising. It loads the glutes at full hip extension, where squats and lunges do not, and builds the hip power behind sprinting, jumping and heavy lifts.

Build quality and adjustment

The seat belt holds the pelvis against the pad through the movement, the footplate is tilted and blister-patterned for grip, and the thick back pad is shaped to the torso. The cable drive runs on 7 × 19 carbon-steel cables rated above 950 kg behind a steel and acrylic shroud.

Like every Jungle Gym machine, it carries a two-coat, electrostatically applied powder finish in black with a vermilion-red texture; 5 cm of rebonded foam under 10 mm of high-density foam with a CGPC PVC cold-latex leather cover, double stitched; dipped PVC handgrips; a cable drive on 7 × 19 carbon-steel cables with a tensile strength above 950 kg; a 1 mm steel and 3 mm acrylic shroud; and low-carbon steel weight plates chosen for rust resistance, low noise and durability.

Space and installation

The JGHT2400 measures 165 × 129 × 168 cm (65" × 51" × 66") (L × W × H). Leave about 0.6 m of clear space on the user side for entry and exit and 0.5 m around the weight stack for pin changes. No power is needed. Luxe Fitness delivers, assembles and levels the machine and fits the weight stack on site.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the upholstery, handgrips and shroud after each session. Check the belt, pulleys and pivot bearings monthly, keep the guide rods clean and lightly lubricated as the manual directs, and tighten pad and handle fasteners. Book a service visit if the movement becomes rough or the stack catches on the guide rods.

Frequently asked questions

Why use a hip thrust machine instead of a barbell?

The machine removes the bar across the hips, the bench that slides, and the setup time; members fasten the belt, select a pin and thrust, so the exercise becomes practical for beginners and busy floors.

Which other Steelflex machines train the glutes?

The Mega Power MHE1900 glute machine and MMH1500 multi-hip, and the Hope HHE1900 standing hip extension. The JGHT2400 is the only dedicated hip-thrust machine in the range.

What warranty does the Steelflex JGHT2400 have in India?

Luxe Fitness offers up to 5 years warranty on this machine, covering frame, major moving parts and upholstery on separate terms. Ask us for the warranty card for your exact model before purchase.
