The bar rotates onto safety stops at any height so back, chest and leg exercises can be performed without a spotter, and the fine-tuning design of the bar path prevents strain on the joints while keeping a natural, fluid feel.

Build quality and safety

Like every Hope-series machine, it is built with a two-coat, electrostatically applied powder finish; 5 cm of rebonded foam with a CGPC PVC cold-latex leather cover, double stitched; dipped PVC handgrips; a cable drive on 7 × 19 carbon-steel cables with a tensile strength above 950 kg; a 1 mm carbon-steel shroud; and low-carbon steel weight plates chosen for rust resistance, low noise and durability. An instructional placard is fitted to every machine.
