The Steelflex HHE1900 Hip Extension is a commercial standing glute and hip extension machine from Steelflex’s Hope series, built for gyms and fitness centres that want an isolated standing glute movement. Members stand and drive one leg back against a foot peg on a linear-bearing cable system for fluid motion, holding a steady handle with multiple grip positions. It carries a 50 kg (110 lb) weight stack as standard and occupies 180 × 121 cm of floor.

• Steady handle with multiple grips

• 50 kg weight stack

• 180 × 121 cm footprint

The Steelflex HHE1900 is the standing hip extension in Steelflex’s Hope commercial line, built to isolate the glutes from a standing position. The cable-driven system runs on a linear-bearing design so the foot peg moves fluidly through the kickback, and a steady handle with multiple grip positions lets members brace in whichever posture suits them.

Who is this machine for?

The HHE1900 suits commercial gyms, hotel and corporate fitness centres, physiotherapy settings and home gyms in India that want glute development without hip thrusts or heavy squats. The standing position and light 50 kg stack make it approachable for beginners and precise for advanced members.

Muscles worked and key exercises

The hip extension targets the gluteus maximus with the hamstrings assisting. Working one leg at a time against the foot peg builds glute strength, shape and the hip stability that protects the knee, and the standing position keeps the lower back out of the movement.

Build quality and adjustment

The linear-bearing cable system keeps the foot peg moving smoothly, the handle is steady with several grip positions for variation, and the upright frame stabilises the body. The cable drive runs on 7 × 19 carbon-steel cables rated above 950 kg behind a 1 mm carbon-steel shroud.

Like every Hope-series machine, it is built with a two-coat, electrostatically applied powder finish; 5 cm of rebonded foam with a CGPC PVC cold-latex leather cover, double stitched; dipped PVC handgrips; a cable drive on 7 × 19 carbon-steel cables with a tensile strength above 950 kg; a 1 mm carbon-steel shroud; and low-carbon steel weight plates chosen for rust resistance, low noise and durability. An instructional placard is fitted to every machine.

Space and installation

The HHE1900 measures 180 × 121 × 168 cm (71" × 47" × 66") (L × W × H). Leave about 0.6 m of clear space on the user side for entry and exit and 0.5 m around the weight stack for pin changes. No power is needed. Luxe Fitness delivers, assembles and levels the machine and fits the weight stack on site.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the upholstery, handgrips and shroud after each session. Check the belt, pulleys and pivot bearings monthly, keep the guide rods clean and lightly lubricated as the manual directs, and tighten pad and handle fasteners. Book a service visit if the movement becomes rough or the stack catches on the guide rods.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the Steelflex HHE1900 and MHE1900?

The HHE1900 is a standing glute kickback with a 50 kg stack and a steady handle; the MHE1900 is the Mega Power glute machine with a supported kneeling posture, elbow pads, a rotating foot platform and a 97.5 kg stack.

Is 50 kg enough for a glute kickback machine?

Yes. The kickback isolates one leg against a long lever, so 50 kg on the stack is a heavy load for almost every member.

What warranty does the Steelflex HHE1900 have in India?

Luxe Fitness offers up to 5 years warranty on this machine, covering frame, major moving parts and upholstery on separate terms. Ask us for the warranty card for your exact model before purchase.

What is the price of the Steelflex HHE1900 hip extension in India?

Pricing depends on the weight stack chosen, delivery location and installation needs. Call +91 80 4112 5757 or send an enquiry for a quote.
