SM-1000 Functional Trainer

Brand: TRUE Fitness · Category: Functional Trainer

The TRUE SM-1000 Functional Trainer is a commercial dual-stack functional trainer from TRUE’s Force series, built for apartment, hotel and community gyms that want whole-body cable training for one or two users. Two fully shrouded 98 kg stacks let each arm train at a different resistance or two users work at once, and twist-and-roll pulley handles make one-handed adjustment through 31 clearly marked heights effortless. It carries a 2 × 98 kg (215 lb each) weight stack as standard and occupies 113 × 168 cm of floor.

• Dual 98 kg weight stacks

• 31 pulley heights, one-handed adjustment

• Fully shrouded stacks

• Two users at once

• 113 × 168 cm footprint

The TRUE SM-1000 is the functional trainer in TRUE Fitness’s Force series, with fully shrouded weight stacks for safety and premium aesthetics. The dual-stack design lets users train or rehabilitate each arm at a different resistance, or lets two users train at the same time, and the unique twist-and-roll pulley handles give effortless one-handed adjustment through 31 clearly marked heights.

Who is this machine for?

The SM-1000 suits apartment-complex and multi-family gyms, hotels and resorts, community and corporate fitness centres, physiotherapy studios and premium home gyms in India that want a cable crossover and functional trainer on a 113 × 168 cm footprint.

Exercises it supports

With the pulleys high, crossovers and pulldowns train the chest and lats; at mid height, rows, presses, chops and rotations train the back, chest and core; low, curls, kickbacks and lateral raises train the arms, glutes and shoulders. Independent stacks allow different loads per side for rehabilitation.

Build quality and adjustment

Each column carries a fully shrouded 98 kg stack, the pulleys adjust one-handed through 31 heights with twist-and-roll handles, and the frame is finished in matte-black powder coat with custom colours available. The machine weighs 309 kg.

Like every Force-series machine, it is TRUE’s all-inclusive dual-function design for facilities with limited space and budget, from community centres and multi-family residences to hotels and resorts: sleek, fully shrouded, with clearly labelled colour-coded adjustments and TRUE’s matte-black powder coat with custom frame colours and 18 upholstery options. TRUE backs the frame and welds for 10 years with 5 years on bearings, bushings, pulleys, plates and guide rods.

Space and installation

The SM-1000 measures 113 × 168 × 215 cm (44" × 66" × 85") (L × W × H). The SM-1000 stands 215 cm tall on a 113 × 168 cm footprint. Allow about 1.5 m of clear floor in front for cable exercises and 0.5 m behind, with at least 2.4 m of ceiling height. No power is needed; anchoring is recommended. Luxe Fitness delivers, assembles, levels and anchors the trainer and fits both stacks on site.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the upholstery, grips and shroud after each session. Check the cables, pulleys and gas cylinders monthly, keep the guide rods clean and lightly lubricated as the manual directs, and tighten pad and handle fasteners. Book a service visit if the movement becomes rough or the stack catches on the guide rods.
