Rō Rower

Brand: TRUE Fitness · Model: RO · Category: Rower

The TRUE Rō is a commercial rowing machine with dual resistance: a fan that responds to stroke power and a magnetic brake with 10 levels. A self-powered 7-inch backlit console shows strokes per minute, watts, distance, time, calories and heart rate, the MultiGrip handlebar allows rowing, kayaking and canoeing motions, and the frame tilts upright for storage. It carries users up to 160 kg.

• Dual resistance: fan plus 10-level magnetic brake

• Self-powered 7-inch backlit LCD with calorie meter

• MultiGrip handlebar for varied rowing motions

• Tilts upright to store in a 239 cm rail length

• 160 kg maximum user weight

The TRUE Rō is the rower in TRUE Fitness’s Vapor commercial series, built to bring rowing to gym floors, studios and HIIT zones without a power socket. Fan resistance rises with stroke effort while a magnetic brake adds 10 fixed levels on top, so the same machine suits steady endurance rowing and short, hard intervals. Ecofit asset management and a 160 kg user limit make it a facility piece rather than a home-only rower.

Who is this rower for?

The Rō suits commercial gyms, HIIT and group-training studios, hotel and corporate fitness centres and home gyms that want a club-grade rower with a small storage footprint. The seated, no-impact motion suits members who cannot run, and the 43 cm seat height makes it easier to get on and off than a low rail.

Key workout benefits

Rowing works roughly 85% of the body’s muscle in one movement, and the Rō’s dual resistance lets users choose between the natural feel of a fan and the fixed load of the magnetic brake. The console’s calorie meter shows the current and best effort side by side, and the Max 14 Interval programme drives 25-second efforts with 80-second recoveries.

The MultiGrip handlebar offers several hand positions and allows kayaking and canoeing strokes for variety, and Bluetooth heart-rate monitoring tracks intensity.

Build quality and user experience

Quick-release foot straps speed up changeovers in a class, an oversized handlebar catch and docking station keep the belt-driven handle where the next user expects it, and a comfort seat supports longer sessions. The frame tilts upright for storage and rolls into place.

Space, installation and storage

In use the Rō measures 239 × 61 × 119 cm (L × W × H) and weighs 58 kg; allow about 0.6 m behind the seat at full extension and 0.5 m on each side. Stored upright it is 236 cm tall, so check ceiling height where it will be parked. No power socket is needed.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the handle, seat, rail and foot straps after each session and keep the rail free of dust so the seat glides freely. Check the foot straps and belt monthly and book a service visit if the stroke develops noise or the magnetic levels stop responding.

Frequently asked questions

What is dual resistance on the TRUE Rō?

The Rō combines a fan, whose resistance rises the harder you pull, with a magnetic brake that adds 10 fixed levels. Fan resistance feels like rowing on water; the magnetic levels let you set a steady load for strength-style intervals.

Does the TRUE Rō need to be plugged in?

No. The Rō is self-generating, so your rowing powers the console and no mains socket is needed.

How much space does the TRUE Rō need?

In use it occupies 239 × 61 cm plus about 0.6 m behind the seat; stored upright it stands 236 cm tall on a footprint about the size of its front end.

What warranty does the TRUE Rō have in India?

Luxe Fitness offers up to 5 years warranty on this rower, covering frame, major moving parts and electronics on separate terms. Ask us for the warranty card for your exact model before purchase.
