The TRUE Performance Series Recumbent Bike is TRUE Fitness’s premium home recumbent, designed to remove the awkwardness that puts people off recumbent bikes. The frame is reinforced and walk-through, the seat adjusts through 24 positions with a wraparound handle that is easy to find and reach, and the seat back is fatigue-resistant elastic mesh with conforming lumbar support that reclines to suit the rider.

Who is this bike for?

The bike suits home users who want low-impact cardio with full back support, older family members and anyone returning from knee, hip or back problems, and households where several people share one machine (the consoles store multiple user profiles). Its 159 kg maximum user weight covers most adults, and the compact 147 × 66 cm footprint fits a smaller room.

Key workout benefits

A single-stage Poly-V belt drive and three-piece forged-steel crank turn an eddy-current brake with 25 levels on the Emerge console or 30 on the touchscreen consoles, across a 40–450 watt range. HRC Cruise Control holds a target heart rate by adjusting resistance, with heart rate read through contact grips or the included Polar-compatible strap.

Multi-function thumb controls on the handles change resistance without leaning forward, and touchscreen consoles connect directly to FTMS apps.

Build quality and user experience

Dual-sided weighted pedals with integrated ratcheting straps keep the feet secure, two-position handlebars wear moisture-resistant sleeves, and the frame is robotically welded heavy-gauge steel. A water bottle holder, accessory tray and over-moulded reading rack are built in, and two front transport wheels move the 74 kg bike.

Space, installation and power

The bike measures 147 × 66 × 128 cm (L × W × H). Leave about 0.6 m clear beside the seat for walking through. It needs a mains socket; the 220 V version is supplied for India, which our team arranges before delivery.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the seat, mesh back, handles and console after each ride, and check the pedal straps and seat slide weekly. The belt and eddy-current brake need no lubrication or pad changes; book a service visit if resistance becomes uneven or the console stops reading.

Frequently asked questions

Is a recumbent bike like this good for bad knees or back pain?

A recumbent bike keeps the body reclined with the back supported and the knees working at a comfortable angle, which many people with knee or lower-back discomfort find easier than an upright bike. Anyone with an injury should check with their doctor or physiotherapist first.

How many resistance levels does the TRUE Performance Series Recumbent Bike have?

Twenty-five levels with the Emerge console or 30 with the touchscreen consoles, across a 40–450 watt range from a silent eddy-current brake.

What is the difference between the TRUE Performance Series Recumbent and Upright bikes?

Both share the eddy-current brake, console options, FTMS connectivity and a 159 kg user limit. The recumbent adds a walk-through frame, a reclining mesh seat back with lumbar support and 24 seat positions; the upright offers aero bars and a road-bike position in a smaller 112 × 61 cm footprint.

What warranty does the TRUE Performance Series Recumbent Bike have in India?

Luxe Fitness offers up to 5 years warranty on this bike, covering frame, major moving parts and electronics on separate terms. Ask us for the warranty card for your exact model before purchase.
