Performance Series Elliptical

Brand: TRUE Fitness · Model: XR1-SA-35 · Category: Elliptical

The TRUE Performance Series Elliptical brings an adjustable stride to the home: AutoStride sets the stride length anywhere from 41 to 69 cm to match the user’s natural movement, while TRUE’s patented Core Drive keeps the body centred and stable. An eddy-current brake delivers up to 300 watts, Cardio 360 guides total-body sessions, and the frame carries users up to 159 kg.

• AutoStride adjustable stride, 41–69 cm

• Core Drive system for a centred, stable motion

• Eddy-current brake up to 300 watts

• Cardio 360, HRC Cruise Control and app connectivity

• 159 kg maximum user weight

The TRUE Performance Series Elliptical is the top home elliptical in TRUE Fitness’s range, built with the same commercial-grade materials as its club machines. Its defining feature is AutoStride: the stride length adjusts automatically between 41 and 69 cm in 1 cm steps, so a short walker and a tall runner get a natural motion from the same machine. Core Drive places the drive mechanism under the user’s balance point for stability, and an eddy-current brake gives silent resistance up to 300 watts.

Who is this elliptical for?

The Performance Series Elliptical suits families in Bangalore where several people of different heights share one machine, home users who want club-quality low-impact cardio, and anyone who found a fixed-stride elliptical too short or too long. Its 159 kg maximum user weight, side steps and extended handrails make it accessible to older family members too.

Key workout benefits

Cardio 360 works like a built-in trainer with upper-body isolation, lower-body isolation and total-body modes, and HRC Cruise Control holds a target heart rate by adjusting resistance automatically. Heart rate is read through contact grips or the included chest strap.

Touchscreen consoles add app connectivity through TRUE’s GEM module, and the multi-grip handles (with optional rotating handles) let users vary the upper-body work.

Build quality and user experience

Orthopedic soft-step cushioned footpads reduce fatigue and lift out for cleaning, side steps and extended handrails make entry and exit safe, and the TRUE Lock safety system is standard. The frame is robotically welded heavy-gauge steel and weighs 124 kg, with a 5 cm Q-factor for a natural stance. A water bottle holder, accessory tray and reading rack are built in.

Space, installation and power

The frame occupies 124 × 83 cm of floor and stands 163 cm tall; allow for the 191 cm active footprint when the arms are in motion, leave about 0.6 m clear on each side, and check ceiling height for the tallest user at the top of the stride. The elliptical needs a mains socket; the 220 V version is supplied for India, which our team arranges before delivery.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the handles, footpads, side steps and console after each session and keep the rails free of dust and sweat. Check footpad and handle fasteners monthly and run the stride adjustment through its range as part of routine inspection. If the stride develops play or noise, book a service visit rather than opening the housing.
