Performance 1000 Treadmill

Brand: TRUE Fitness · Model: PERF-1000 · Category: Treadmill

The TRUE Performance 1000 is the entry point to TRUE Fitness’s commercial-grade home treadmills: the same 152 × 53 cm running surface, 3 HP motor, 0–15% incline and FITX shock-absorbing deck as its bigger siblings, with a standard belt and a choice of LCD or touchscreen consoles. HRC Cruise Control and a heart-rate strap are included, and it carries users up to 159 kg.

• 152 × 53 cm running surface

• FITX shock-absorbing deck

• 3 HP motor, 0.8–19.3 km/h, 0–15% incline

• HRC Cruise Control with heart-rate strap included

• 159 kg maximum user weight

The TRUE Performance 1000 (TPS1000) is the most affordable treadmill in TRUE Fitness’s Performance series, built in the USA with the same commercial-grade materials as the Performance 3000 and 8000. A 3 HP DC motor drives a 152 × 53 cm belt from 0.8 to 19.3 km/h, incline runs from 0 to 15%, and TRUE’s FITX deck cushions each footstrike.

Who is this treadmill for?

The Performance 1000 suits home walkers, joggers and runners in Bangalore who want a full-size treadmill built to last rather than a lightweight folding model. Its 159 kg maximum user weight, extended handrails and 16.5 cm step-up height make it comfortable for the whole family, and the simple console layout is easy for first-time users.

Key workout benefits

HRC Cruise Control lets the user enter a target heart rate; the treadmill then adjusts speed and incline automatically to hold it. A heart-rate strap is included, alongside contact grips and Bluetooth support. Programmes include Single Hill, Weight Loss Hills, Glute, Goal, Speed Intervals, Weight Loss HRC, Aerobic HRC and Intervals.

Quick-touch speed and incline keys change pace in one press, and the GymTrakr app records each session.

Build quality and user experience

TRUE’s FITX system puts neoprene shock absorbers at the front of the deck, where the foot lands, and keeps the rear firmer for push-off. A magnetic speed sensor keeps belt speed accurate, and 7.62 cm rollers keep the belt tracking smoothly.

The heavy-gauge steel frame is robotically welded, the handrails are foam-covered and flared, and heavy-duty straddle covers give a stable place to stand. A safety clip and front transport wheels are standard.

Space, installation and power

The Performance 1000 measures 200 × 83 × 135 cm (L × W × H) and weighs 135 kg. TRUE recommends a clear zone of 0.5 m on each side and 2 m behind the treadmill, so plan for about 4.0 × 1.83 m of floor. In India the 220 V model is installed on a dedicated, earthed circuit that nothing else shares, which our team checks before delivery.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the handrails, grips and console after each session and vacuum under the treadmill weekly to keep dust away from the motor. Check belt tracking monthly and lubricate only as the owner’s manual directs. Book a service visit if the belt slips, drifts or the motor sounds unusual.
