Palisade Climber

Brand: TRUE Fitness · Model: PALISADE · Category: Stair Climber

The TRUE Palisade is a commercial stair climber with one of the deepest steps on the market: 51 cm long and 28 cm deep, so toes never pinch between treads. An AC drive with a double-braking system runs 20 resistance levels, thumb switches control level and pause from the handrails, and rear steps, side pegs and a dipping handrail help users of every ability climb on. It carries users up to 181 kg.

• Extra-deep 51 × 28 cm steps

• AC drive with double-braking system, 20 levels

• Thumb-switch level and pause controls

• Rear steps, side pegs and dipping handrail for step-up assistance

• 181 kg maximum user weight

The TRUE Palisade is the stair climber in TRUE Fitness’s Vapor commercial series, built for clubs that want a step mill members will use daily and technicians can service easily. Its steps are longer and deeper than conventional step mills, a quiet AC drive keeps the motion smooth, and a double-braking system with a photo-interrupt safety sensor protects the user.

Who is this climber for?

The Palisade suits commercial gyms, athletic and tactical training facilities, fire and police departments that run stair-climb fitness tests, hotel gyms and corporate fitness centres. Its 181 kg maximum user weight and step-up assistance (rear steps, integrated side pegs and a dipping handrail) make it suitable for members of all fitness levels, not only athletes.

Key workout benefits

Stair climbing is one of the highest calorie-burn activities per minute and loads the glutes, hamstrings and quads with low impact. Twenty resistance levels set the step speed from a gentle walk to a hard climb, and a thumb switch on the left handrail changes level while a thumb switch on the right pauses the machine without reaching for the console.

The UNITE consoles add programmes including intervals, goals and HRC Cruise Control, and heart rate is read through contact grips.

Build quality and user experience

Each step measures 51 × 28 cm with a 20 cm rise, and TRUE reports it as ten times stronger than the strongest competitor step, with the extra length relieving stress on the step rods and bearings. The frame uses an anti-rust design with sweat protection, an optional sweat tray keeps the floor clean, and four transport wheels move the machine for servicing.

Space, installation and power

The Palisade measures 153 × 80 × 222 cm (L × W × H) with a 34 cm step-up height, and TRUE recommends a minimum ceiling height of 3.05 m (10 ft). Leave about 0.6 m clear on each side and behind the machine. It is supplied for 220 V use in India on a dedicated earthed circuit, which our team checks before delivery.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the handrails, thumb switches, steps and console after each session, empty and clean the sweat tray if fitted, and keep the base free of dust. Check the step treads and safety sensor as part of routine inspection and book a service visit if the steps hesitate or the brake feel changes.

Frequently asked questions

How tall a ceiling does the TRUE Palisade Climber need?

TRUE recommends a minimum ceiling height of 3.05 m (10 ft). The machine itself is 222 cm tall and the user stands on a 34 cm step-up platform above a moving staircase.

What makes the Palisade’s steps different?

Each step is 51 cm long and 28 cm deep, deeper than a typical step mill, so the whole foot lands on the tread and toes do not pinch between steps. The longer step also reduces stress on the step rods and bearings.

Is the TRUE Palisade suitable for beginners?

Yes. Rear steps, integrated side pegs and a dipping handrail make it easier to get on, and the 20 resistance levels start at a gentle walking pace. A photo-interrupt safety sensor and double braking add protection.

What warranty does the TRUE Palisade Climber have in India?

Luxe Fitness offers up to 5 years warranty on this climber, covering frame, major moving parts and electronics on separate terms. Ask us for the warranty card for your exact model before purchase.
