CLM700 Climber
Brand: Sportop · Model: CLM700 · Category: Stair Climber
The Sportop CLM700 is a home climber that combines a stepping motion with Nordic-walking arm action: 16 levels of electromagnetic resistance, 12 programmes and a console that counts steps alongside time, distance, speed, pulse and calories. A tablet stand, USB port and bottle holder sit on the console, floor compensators level it on uneven tiles, and the frame carries users up to 130 kg.
Climbing and Nordic-walking motion in one machine
16 electromagnetic resistance levels, 12 programmes
Step count, pulse and calorie readouts
Tablet stand, USB port and bottle holder
130 kg maximum user weight
The Sportop CLM700 brings the stair-climber workout home in a compact, quiet form. Pedals move in a climbing path while poles swing in a Nordic-walking action, so glutes, hamstrings, calves, core and arms all work together, and an electromagnetic brake with 16 levels sets the load silently. The console tracks steps as well as the usual cardio metrics.
Who is this climber for?
The CLM700 suits home users in Bangalore who want a lower-body-focused cardio machine with low impact, apartments where a treadmill is too loud, and anyone who finds stair climbing the most effective way to burn calories. Its 130 kg maximum user weight covers most adults, and transport rollers move it between rooms.
Key workout benefits
Climbing burns more calories per minute than walking at the same effort and targets the glutes and thighs directly, while the Nordic-walking poles add an upper-body component that raises heart rate further. Twelve programmes vary the load automatically, and the console reports workout time, distance, speed, step count, pulse and calories.
Build quality and user experience
Electromagnetic resistance has no wearing parts and changes instantly from the console, the tablet stand and USB connector keep a screen in view and charged, and a bottle holder sits within reach. Compensators on the base level the machine on uneven floors.
Space, installation and power
The CLM700 measures about 178 × 94 × 122 cm; check ceiling height for the tallest user at the top of the step and leave about 0.6 m clear on each side. The electromagnetic brake runs from the mains, so a 220 V socket is needed nearby; Luxe Fitness delivers and assembles the machine.
Care and maintenance
Wipe the handles, pedals and console after each session and keep the pedal tracks free of dust. Check pedal and pole fasteners monthly. If the motion develops play or noise, or resistance becomes uneven, book a service visit rather than opening the housing.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a climber and an elliptical?
An elliptical moves the feet in a long, flat oval; a climber like the CLM700 moves them in a steeper, stepping path that loads the glutes and thighs more, with Nordic-walking poles for the arms.
Does the Sportop CLM700 need to be plugged in?
Yes. The electromagnetic resistance and console run from the mains, so a 220 V socket is needed nearby.
Is the Sportop CLM700 quiet enough for an apartment?
Yes. Electromagnetic resistance and a stepping motion make it one of the quietest cardio machines for a flat, with no belt or motor noise.
What warranty does the Sportop CLM700 have in India?
Luxe Fitness offers up to 5 years warranty on this climber, covering frame, major moving parts and electronics on separate terms. Ask us for the warranty card for your exact model before purchase.
