• 0.8–27 km/h top speed for sprint intervals

• -3% to 18% incline and decline, decline kit standard

• Continuous-duty 5 HP AC motor

• 152 × 56 cm surface with FITX cushioning

• 227 kg maximum user weight

The TRUE Apex is the performance treadmill in TRUE Fitness’s commercial cardio line, built for facilities whose members sprint, train for sport and run intervals. A continuous-duty 5 HP AC motor drives the belt to 27 km/h, a 1,200 lb-thrust incline motor covers -3% to 18%, and TRUE’s FITX deck cushions each footstrike on a 152 × 56 cm running surface.

Who is this treadmill for?

The Apex suits high-performance gyms, athletic training centres, fire and police fitness rooms, university campuses and premium hotel gyms where fast, demanding sessions are routine. Its 227 kg maximum user weight and 23 cm step-up height suit a broad membership, and continuous MultiGrip handrails give a secure hold at speed.

Key workout benefits

A 27 km/h top speed covers sprint work that most commercial treadmills cannot, and the standard decline kit adds -3% downhill running to the 18% maximum climb. HRC Cruise Control holds a target heart rate by adjusting speed and incline, and the UNITE consoles add programmes from 5K and 10K runs to hill intervals and the Gerkin fitness test.

Contact grips read heart rate on every console, with Bluetooth monitoring on the touchscreen options.

Build quality and user experience

The deck is double-sided thermally fused laminated fibreboard, reversible and waxed, running a maintenance-free belt over 8 cm sealed-bearing rollers. FITX cushions the front of the deck where the foot lands and keeps the rear firmer for push-off.

The frame is robotically welded heavy-gauge steel with durable aluminium siderails, a cable management system keeps the floor tidy, and Ecofit asset management lets facilities track usage and service. Two front transport wheels make repositioning possible.

Space, installation and power

The Apex measures 211 × 91 × 163 cm (L × W × H) and weighs 222 kg. TRUE recommends a clear zone of 0.5 m on each side and 2 m behind the treadmill, so plan for about 4.11 × 1.91 m of floor and check the delivery route for a machine of this weight. TRUE supplies a 230 V version for India, installed on a dedicated earthed circuit that our team checks before delivery.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the handrails, grips and console after each session and vacuum under the deck weekly. The belt is maintenance-free and the deck is waxed, so do not apply lubricant. Check belt tracking monthly and reverse the deck when the first side wears, and book a service visit if the belt slips or the motor sounds unusual.
