Treadmill Price in Bangalore (2026): Home vs Commercial, Explained

A good home treadmill in Bangalore costs roughly ₹1.35 lakh to ₹6.8 lakh at Luxe Fitness, depending on the brand, motor, screen and whether it folds. Commercial treadmills for gyms, hotels and apartment complexes are usually quoted on request, because the price depends on the console, the number of units and installation. The table below lists the treadmill prices currently shown on luxefitness.net, so you can see exactly where each model sits.

Key takeaways

• Listed home treadmill prices at Luxe Fitness start at ₹1,34,999 (Sportop T4) and go up to ₹6,79,999 (Inspire Series T7s with a 15.6-inch screen).

• Folding models, such as the Inspire Series T4 and T4S, suit flats where floor space matters.

• Commercial treadmills are built for many hours of use a day and are priced on request; the one commercial model with a listed price is the HYROX Perform Treadmill at ₹7,94,999.

• Price is only part of the cost: check warranty, installation, service response and spare-part availability in Bangalore before you buy.

• You can try most models at our Shanti Nagar showroom before deciding.

Why do treadmill prices vary so much?

The biggest price drivers are the motor, the running deck and the electronics. A higher-priced treadmill usually has a stronger continuous-duty motor, a longer and wider belt, better cushioning, a sturdier frame and a larger touchscreen with programmes or streaming.

What you pay more for

• Motor rating: look at the continuous-duty rating rather than the peak figure, because continuous rating is what the motor sustains during a long run.

• Running surface: a longer, wider belt is more comfortable for running and for taller users.

• Cushioning and frame: better shock absorption is kinder to knees, and a heavier frame stays stable at speed.

• Console: basic LED displays cost less than 10-inch or 15.6-inch touchscreens.

• Folding: a folding mechanism adds convenience for small flats.

• Warranty and service: longer cover on the frame and motor adds value over the years you own the machine.

Home treadmill or commercial treadmill: which do you need?

Choose a home treadmill if one household uses it for an hour or two a day. Choose a commercial treadmill if many people use it daily, as in a gym, hotel, apartment clubhouse or office.

Commercial machines are engineered for longer daily running hours, heavier users and constant use, and they are usually backed by service plans suited to a business. Putting a home treadmill into a busy society gym often leads to early wear and frequent service calls, which costs more in the long run.

What should you check before you buy a treadmill in Bangalore?

Check five things before paying: the warranty terms, who installs it, how quickly service is available in Bangalore, whether spare parts are stocked, and whether the treadmill fits your room and power supply.

1. Warranty: read what the frame, motor, electronics and wear parts are each covered for. Luxe Fitness offers upto 5 years warranty depending on the product and component; see our warranty policy.

2. Installation: large treadmills should be installed by trained technicians. We install free of charge; see our shipping and installation policy.

3. Service in your city: ask who will come when something needs attention and how soon.

4. Space and power: measure the room, leave clear space behind the belt, and use a suitable socket. A voltage stabiliser is a sensible precaution where supply fluctuates.

5. Try it: walk and run on it. Feel the cushioning, the noise and how easy the console is to use.

Is it better to buy a treadmill online or from a showroom?

Buying from a showroom lets you test the treadmill, compare models side by side and agree delivery, installation and service in one place. Buying online can be convenient, but you cannot feel the deck or hear the motor, and after-sales service varies widely by seller.

If you are in Bangalore, you can try our home and commercial models at the Luxe Fitness showroom, 134/2 KH Road, Shanti Nagar, open Monday to Saturday from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM. Orders above ₹50,000 qualify for free delivery across India.

When is a cheaper treadmill a false economy?

A low-cost treadmill becomes expensive if it is used more than it was designed for. Common signs are a motor that struggles at running speed, a belt that slips, a frame that shakes, or a console that fails early.

Red flags to watch for:

• Only a "peak" motor figure is given, with no continuous rating.

• No clear warranty document, or warranty only through an unknown third party.

• No local installation or service arrangement.

• A short, narrow belt that feels cramped when you run.

Expert view

"Most people who come to us asking about price really want to know which treadmill will last. We ask how many people will use it, for how long each day, and whether they walk or run. That usually narrows the choice to two or three models, and then we let them try those in the showroom."
