Vertical upper handgrips support users at the steepest settings, thumb switches on the handles change speed and incline, and the frame carries users up to 181 kg. - -3% to 30% incline and decline range - 5 HP AC Max Drive motor, 0.8–19.3 km/h - 152 × 56 cm running surface with FITX cushioning - Vertical upper handgrips and thumb-switch controls - 181 kg maximum user weight The TRUE Alpine Runner is the incline trainer in TRUE Fitness’s Vapor commercial series, combining a full-size treadmill with a 30% maximum grade for hill-walking and climbing sessions that burn more calories per minute than flat running. A 5 HP AC Max Drive motor and a 1,200 lb-thrust compression elevation motor handle the load, and TRUE’s patented incline system reduces wear on the lift mechanism over years of use. ## Who is this incline trainer for? The Alpine Runner suits commercial gyms, athletic and tactical training facilities, hotel fitness centres and premium home gyms where members want weight-loss and hiking-style workouts without running speed. Its 181 kg maximum user weight covers a broad membership, and the optional rear step lowers the step-up height to 12.7 cm for easier mounting. ## Key workout benefits Incline runs from -3% to 30%, so the same machine covers downhill running, flat sessions and steep climbs that load the glutes, hamstrings and calves. Speed runs from 0.8 to 19.3 km/h, and thumb switches at the end of the handles change speed and incline without reaching forward, which matters at a 30% grade. TRUE’s Monument Workouts on the touchscreen consoles simulate famous climbs, and heart rate is read through contact grips, with Bluetooth monitoring on the 16-inch and 22-inch consoles. ## Build quality and user experience The FITX deck cushioning relieves impact on joints, the deck is reversible and waxed with a maintenance-free belt, and 8 cm sealed-bearing rollers keep the belt tracking under heavy use. Aluminium straddle covers and a robotically welded heavy-gauge steel frame give the machine its commercial feel. Vertical upper handgrips give users something to hold at the steepest inclines, a dual brake keeps the belt under control, and three emergency stops (console, pod and safety key) protect the user. Rear transport wheels with built-in handholds make repositioning possible. ## Space, installation and power The Alpine Runner measures 180 × 101 × 180 cm (L × W × H), or 206 cm long with the optional step, and weighs 269 kg. TRUE recommends a clear zone of 0.5 m on each side and 2 m behind the treadmill, so plan for about 4.06 × 2.01 m of floor with the step and check ceiling height at full incline for the tallest user. TRUE supplies a 230 V version for India, installed on a dedicated earthed circuit that our team checks before delivery. ## Care and maintenance Wipe the handrails, grips and console after each session and vacuum under the deck weekly. The belt is maintenance-free and the deck is waxed, so do not apply lubricant. Check belt tracking monthly, run the incline through its full range as part of routine inspection, and book a service visit if the belt slips or the incline stops responding. ## Why buy from Luxe Fitness?
